Spring has sprung here in Kansas City and we are all very ready–it has been a long, cold winter this year. The new life has begun to show itself, the bright yellow of the daffodils, the vibrant green grass, the trees now have the buds of new growth–all indicating that Spring is here!

New life is so encouraging to see. It just seems to stir hope in our lives! So too in our spiritual journey as we experience the newness of life each and every day from the only One who can give us life–Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

We are reminded that we are a new creation in Him. Old things have passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17)!

As we seek Him through prayer, His Word, communion and the fellowship of other believers, we too begin to bud forth with new growth (Acts 2:42). Then we begin to see fruit–the wonderful by-product of His presence in our lives as we stay connected to Him (John 15:1-8; Galatians 5:22-25).
Savior who lives in us and gives us assurance and hope. Hope in the New Testament means the constant expectation of future good (Romans 5:1-5).

God loves you with a perfect love and He has a great plan for your life this Spring as you continue to follow Him. Our desire and prayer is that this edition’s featured message will help and encourage you to take others on a spiritual “road trip” as you spread the seed of God’s Word, water it, and watch it grow!
